How it works

Three steps to comparable options

1

Share your requirements

Location, goods, volumes and timing. Start from your industry and we prefill what it always needs.

2

We check partners against your must-haves

Site by site, against the criteria you marked as must. Missing data never counts as met.

3

Compare options on one cost basis

Offers are made comparable before you see them, with open points clearly marked.

What matters when storing defence and aerospace goods

01

Start with what you store

Spare parts, assemblies, electronics and equipment can go to a contract logistics site with the right controls. Ammunition, explosives and war weapons need sites licensed under the Explosives Act and the War Weapons Control Act. We currently match non-explosive goods only.

02

Classification decides the site

Most physical parts are unclassified or restricted (VS-NfD). Material classified as confidential or higher needs a site with facility security clearance and screened staff. Clearance takes months, so raise it at the start.

03

Requirements apply per site

A certificate held at one site of a provider says nothing about another. EN 9120 or AQAP 2110, the security set-up and screened staff have to be in place where your goods are stored.

04

Export control travels with the goods

Storage itself rarely needs a licence; outbound shipments and work on listed goods often do. Tell us whether your goods are on the German export list, dual-use or subject to US ITAR or EAR, and ask who at the site is responsible for export control.

05

Traceability and condition

Serial and batch numbers, configuration status, shelf life for sealants and batteries, ESD protection for electronics. Agree how each is recorded before the first goods arrive.

06

Not every site takes defence customers

Some providers and landlords exclude defence tenants. We ask before we propose a site.

Certifications and standards that matter

ISO 9001Quality management. The base most customers expect.
EN 9120Quality management for aerospace and defence stockists and distributors. The standard that fits a warehouse.
AQAP 2110NATO quality requirements, often asked for by defence customers.
ISO 27001Information security. Relevant where drawings and part data are handled.
AEO-S / AEO-FAuthorised economic operator, customs simplifications and security.

These are standards customers commonly ask for. We hold no defence accreditation ourselves and make no claim for the network as a whole; we check per site what is in place before you decide.

Typical mistakes when choosing a provider

  1. Assuming a group certificate covers every site of a provider.
  2. Raising export control only when the first shipment leaves.
  3. Planning classified storage without time for security clearance. It takes months, not weeks.
  4. Storing defence stock with general stock without separation and access logging.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle ammunition, explosives or weapons?

No. We currently match non-explosive goods such as spare parts, assemblies, electronics and equipment. Ammunition, explosives and war weapons need specially licensed sites.

Can partner sites store classified material?

Unclassified and restricted (VS-NfD) goods, yes, with the right controls. Higher classifications need a facility security clearance; our network is not set up for that. Classified documents are never shared through us.

Which standards do these sites meet?

We make no general claims. Customers often ask for ISO 9001, EN 9120 or AQAP 2110; we check what a specific site actually holds and show you the evidence before you decide.

Do you work with the Bundeswehr directly?

We mainly work for manufacturers and suppliers to the armed forces. If you supply the Bundeswehr or NATO as a prime contractor or subcontractor, we find warehouse capacity for your part of the contract.

How do I start?
